November 6, 2016. Smoothie

Hi Sunday Morning...    I'm grateful for these smoothies!  This is really delicious with lots of ginger. Penny has trouble sleeping and often gets up and makes a smoothie putting them in freezer.  She can really make an artful expression!  Xoxoxo.

squito's this year..  While the moon is beautiful , I can't capture with the cell phone. Maybe its just my phone but I don't think so..  I feel it must be bigger than me and not if the cell phone perspective...   Time for me to call it a night. All the best...

September

This month was difficult for all the family.  Naomi lost her fight with life and passed in her sleep on the 19th.  We were thankful to have Karen with us as well as all the grandchildren.  I know she was thorough in planning for her own services.  We helped by planning pictorial boards for all to see.  Still, it's hard to have the empty room.  We will miss her along with many friends and family.  Mike and I are also so blessed that we have many memories of challenges met and letting her know this was a blessing not burden.  She helped us as we helped her.  Much Love and wishes for peace.

Our birthday....:)  I had the pleasure to spend a week in Independence with the family.  I had a wonderful trip full of  lots of laughs, drives and good cooking..  I took lots of pictures on phone.  Had a great time at farm. This time I flew next time I will drive.  For the expense involved in flying, it feels a lot to pay for basically bus conditions.. :)  I don't know how to post from phone so I can't add pictures.  But I do have faith.   xoxoxo

         June 20th  Summer Solice.
Beautiful Full Strawberry moon.  I hear 70 years since last.
What a wonderful trip I had. To see Perla was great.  From the landing in SF at 7:30 to flight back 1 am Monday I enjoyed this trip.  We rode, buses, trollys, and the bart.   Saw the city attractions.  Yea Yea Yea....  Wonderful place to visit..

Events of 2016

Quiet start...Celebrating James' BD  His Fav....  Pluckers..  Hot Wings...  Next Feb Birthdays....  Miranda on the 16th followed by Naomi on the 18th... This was her 21st and she went to Sherwood Renaisance Fair. We were happy to be able to give Miranda her own guitar for which she was surprised and happy to pick out.  
She has been working on her song play list while working and going to school.  Now in May she is ready to finish this demanding semester.  She has been able to shift up and meet the challenges.  

I had an exciting visit spring break to KCMO!   It was great fun.  Time well spent.  I will have to figure out how to update my phone so I can access its pictures...
I'll keep this short and sweet and resolve to do better journaling..
